THE Department of Justice (DoJ) started construction of a new multi-purpose building complex in Lanao del Norte that will house its provincial offices and support the delivery of justice services in the province.
In a statement on Tuesday, the department said Justice Secretary Fredderick A. Vida led the groundbreaking ceremony for the project in Kakai Renabor, Tubod, on July 3.
The department said the facility will provide a modern and functional workplace for DoJ offices in the province, with the project aimed at improving service delivery, enhancing work efficiency and expanding access to justice for residents of Lanao del Norte.
Once completed, the complex is expected to strengthen the department’s capacity to carry out its mandate in the province while providing a safe and conducive working environment for its personnel.
“May this building forever stand as a symbol of what is possible when government works as one — guided by integrity, united by purpose, and committed to serving the Filipino people,” Mr. Vida said.
The project forms part of the department’s efforts to develop facilities that support accessible, efficient and responsive justice services, according to the DoJ. — Mark Joseph M. Sanchez
