MANILA, Philippines – There will be no elections in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao this March, despite the Supreme Court’s deadline.

With the polls delayed, the Bangsamoro Parliament is working on amendments to the electoral code following the recent passage of a new districting law.

But what’s supposed to happen in these long-delayed elections? How are voters in the region going to elect their own leaders? Rappler’s Iya Gozum explains the process in this video.
