It also claimed billions of XRP sat in escrow as liquidity reserves. The post spread fast across crypto social media.

Watcher.Guru removed the post shortly after, revealing that it had been hacked. Crypto Dyl News revisited this sequence of events in its recent post, putting the deleted claim and the hacking excuse side by side for its followers to examine.

Crypto Dyl News frames the timeline as suspicious. The account notes that a page with millions of followers announced major news, then deleted it, then blamed a hack. Responses to the Crypto Dyl News post ranged from dismissive to skeptical of the post itself. One reply called the original claim a lie designed purely for engagement.
