PETALING JAYA: A four-year-old boy died after collapsing at a water park in Sungai Buloh last Sunday.
Sungai Buloh police chief Hafiz Nor said preliminary investigations found that the boy was believed to have collapsed after leaving the pool area.
He was found unconscious.
“The boy was taken to Hospital Sungai Buloh for further treatment before a medical officer pronounced him dead,” he said in a statement.
Hafiz said initial investigations had found no evidence of foul play and further inquiries were being conducted to determine the boy’s cause of death.
He urged anyone with information related to the incident to contact investigating officer Zul Irfan Omar at 017-5393648 or the nearest police station.
Hafiz also advised the public not to speculate on the case.
